Day 34 Camino Crowds

We were warned. But we did not expect to see the surge we did. Peregrinos were everywhere. We kept our composure and greeted everyone we passed with either “ Buen Camino” or “ Buenos Dias”. As we walk fast and stop a lot, we say that to many people many times. Putting the onslaught aside, it was a glorious day of walking and we enjoyed our time in a most inviting town. Plus we had a ton of Camino conversations with people from all over the globe. Communing with other people is an enriching aspect of The Camino.

When industry hit this town the church was moved from low ground to high ground. You can see from the photo they numbered each stone in the relocation effort. Carla and I loved the atmosphere of this town..
