Day 29 Knights Templar

Yesterday was draining physically and mentally. Today’s rest day could not have been better timed. Carla and I got the day started a little later than usual. We are in Ponferrada, a major stronghold of the Knights Templar in the 12th and 13th centuries. They built a huge castle much of which still remains and we walked those grounds and structures for hours. We attended a mass in an ancient church. Today we just relaxed and tried to recharge.
