Day 14 Rest

A rest day- sleep in, breakfast, massage in the room, write Best Buddies thank you notes, roam the town and Cathedral of Burgos, bite to eat, attend evening mass and sleep

A chest that belonged to El Cid, who is interred in this cathedral along with his wife. His horse, Babieca, rests in a nearby monastery. The church refused to permit him to be buried alongside El Cid (yes the same church that allowed live chickens to live in a church)
