Day 8 Century
Today we passed the 100 mile mark. A long day but relatively easy. We made it to Logrono before rain started. We drifted out of the Navarro region into the La Rioja region so yes vineyards everywhere. It seems every Camino Peregrino has a rhythm to their walk whether solo, in pairs(like Carla and me) or a bit larger grouping. When Carla and I are on the trail we cruise along in synch. It’s a good feeling and it seems to connect us to the Camino. We have met so many people both while walking and as we walk through the day’s end destination. When we see these folks on the trail and we join with them, it takes us out of our rhythm and into a different rhythm so we do it for a bit then we get back to our pace. It’s a spiritual dynamic of the Camino how we commune with other pilgrims while keeping our own personal connection to the Camino. Below are some of today’s experiences

The shots above are of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre- a 12th century church. Prayed in the simple but powerful structure and had our Camino passports stamped
